I have grown up around the game of Golf. I started playing when I was just 5, as soon as my dad bought me my first set of clubs. My dad is a PGA certified Director of Golf, and he raised me around the game. Since I was 15, I have worked in the bagroom at Columbia Edgewater, and have learned the ins and outs of a country club operation. Every time I play golf, I can appriciate the work that goes in to maintaining a golf course in its best condition. I am a 5.5 index, and I enjoy every round of golf I play.
A good camera does not make you a good photographer. However, a good camera allows you to create and capture to the best of your skill level. I use a Canon EOS R camera body for all of my photographs. When paired with the right lens, this camera allows me infinite possibilities for capturing images. For golf course photography, I use a Canon 17-40 L series lens for wide shots, and a Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 lens for medium to long shots. This combo enables every golf course photo imaginable. For portraits, I primarily use the Canon 50 f/1.4 and a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lensesFrom the air, I use a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone, to truly open up posibilities of arial photography. I am a fully licensed FAA drone pilot, and am able to fly practically anywhere.
